Opening Photoshop:
Just click: Start>Programs>Photoshop 7.0/ Photoshop CS4 or click on shortcut Icon on your desktop
Create a new Document:
Click File > New. Setup the dialog box
Example: A 14-inch Box displays 800 pixels horizontally and 600 vertically. An image with dimensions of 800 pixels by 600 pixels would fill this small screen. On a larger Box with an 800-by-600-pixel setting, the same image (with 800-by-600-pixel dimensions) would still fill the screen, but each pixel would appear larger. Changing the setting of this larger monitor to 1024-by-768 pixels would display the image at a smaller size, occupying only part of the screen.
Color mode: Chose your color on your project. When making a graphics for a Business card u can choose RGB color. (CMYK) color mode the mode PostScript printers use
Open file: Choose File > Open you can use shortcut key just press (ctrl +O)
Save file: Choose your Location on your file.
Choose File > Save As.
Type your file name , choose a location for the file
Select your file format > Click Save
Shortcut key: (shft+ctrl+s)
